Reception Arrangements

Originally my wedding reception was going to have a shabby chic feel to it. Now it seems more garden party than shabby chic. But I still love the look of these teacup and saucer arrangements. I don't think they will make it on every table, but I plan to make four for the head table. I just need to hunt down more cups and saucers. All but one of these was generously donated by my sweet sister.

Programs

After a few hundred tries, I finally got the programs to my liking! Now I just need to print and assemble around a 100 of 'em and I'll be set! I think they look great. I might add a ribbon to tie them closed, but I'm pleased with the layout and font choices.

Bridesmaids

Bridesmaids flowers

The dresses have been ordered! I can't wait to finally see them. I know everyone is going to look so beautiful!

I think silver strappy sandals will look really cute with the dresses. Any size heel (or no heel) will be fine. I will be having my hair done the day of the wedding and I'm wearing mine in an updo. Any way you like your hair and make-up done works for me!

More Before and After

I didn't take a before of the small birdcage, but it's identical to the large one. The large one will be used to hold cards on the gift table. I think the small one might go on the cake table. Or it will end up next to the big one on the gift table.

It's hard to see, but I put a little nest inside. I might do a flower arrangement with some small birds instead of the nest.

I love the green! The original brass finish didn't look like it belonged at a wedding.

This is just a sampling of some of my flowers and other decorations and accessories. I plan on using birds, bees, butterflies, and anything that makes me think of a spring garden party!

Inspiration

This is the inspiration for my pew decorations. I think mine turned out just as good, if not better!

Before and After

I found these pots at The Dollar Tree and I knew they would be perfect for my pew decorations.

They just needed a few coats of spray paint. Now they look pew worthy!

Here is the almost completed product. It still needs to have holes drilled in each side and some ribbon so it can hang from the pew.

A view from the top. I think it's really pretty. I don't have much flower arranging experience, so I'm really proud of how this looks. Now I've got 21 more to finish!
